Most importantly, Avast free was obviously a joy to work with and presented more than the regular suspects in the antivirus office. Avast also boasts a feature rich interface and an impressive set of capabilities that go a long way towards defending your PC against malware, ad ware, spyware and other online dangers. The most fun thing is that the software was as pain-free to install and configure when it was to neglect. The package is a well-oiled machine and the only complaints we all found were the occasional glitch or two (and a few oddly sized files) when benefits of antivirus software we did try to do the installation on our olde skool Windows almost 8 box. Avast is a good decision for beginners and seasoned veterans equally, and we would be happy to advise it to anyone wanting to buy an all-in-one, no-nonsense security solution.
